Intercession 42item Does hoping for intercession result in daring to commit a sin? Does asking other than God for intercession, mean considering the intercessor to be independent? Has the issue of asking the Prophet (s.a.) for intercession been mentioned in the supplication of the Prophet (s.a.)? Is asking a dead person to pray considered as worshiping him? Is asking for intercession considered as interference in God’s dominion? Is asking other than God considered as polytheism according to the third verse of Zumar [1] Sura and eighteenth verse of Yunis[2] Sura? Is asking other than God for intercession polytheism, according to this verse {فَلَا تَدْعُوا مَعَ اللهِ أَحَدًا}So do not call to anyone else, other than Allah” [1]? Does the intercession require that the intercessor affects God and changes His will? Is asking other than God for intercession considered as turning to other than God and is it against Unity? Is asking other than God for intercession, a vain and baseless act and does it lead to polytheism? Isn’t there any difference between asking other than God and asking the for intercession?
