Creation 11item What is the purpose of creation? Please state rational proofs in this regards. If the purpose is to perfect ourselves, then why did not Allah (awj) create humanity perfect to begin with? When Allah informed angels about His Decision to create human being, they exclaimed that: “Wilt Thou place in it such as shall make mischief in it and shed blood…” Does it mean human race existed before the creation of Hazrat Aadam (a.s.)? When does human life begin - at conception, or later on during pregnancy? Can life in this world be a goal for the creation of the human being? Why have we been created? What is God’s reason for creating man? What is the wisdom behind creation? Please mention logical arguments in this regard. If the world was created for man to develop and reach perfection, then why didn’t Allah just create man perfect in the first place? What is the reason behind God creating man and generally the whole world? Is He in need of creating? From the beginning of Prophet Adam’s life till this day about 5,764 years have passed. The oldest human fossil that has been found up to today is from 25 million years ago! Please answer using evidence. The Holy Quran says, "Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and He is firm in power." (Al-A'raf:54). "Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things." (Yunus: 3). "He Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between, in six days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): Allah Most Gracious: ask thou, then, about Him of any acquainted (with such things). " (Al-Furqan: 59) According to verse 7 of Chapter Hud, God is He Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods. As per the above verses, the heavens and the earth were created in six days. However, according to some other verses of the Quran, the heavens and the earth were created in two, four or eight days: "Say: Is it that ye deny Him Who created the earth in two days and do ye join equals with Him? He is the Lord of (all) the Worlds." (Fussilat: 9) He set on the (earth), mountains standing firm, high above it, and bestowed blessings on the earth, and measured therein all things to give them nourishment in due proportion, in four days in accordance with (the needs of) those who seek (Sustenance)." (Fussilat: 10) "Then He directed Himself to the heaven and it is a vapor, so He said to it and to the earth: Come both, willingly or unwillingly. They both said: We come willingly. So He ordained them seven heavens in two periods, and revealed in every heaven its affair; and We adorned the lower heaven with brilliant stars and (made it) to guard; that is the decree of the Mighty, the Knowing." (Fussilat: 11 and 12). Now, let's calculate. God created the firmaments (the sky, the "roof" over the earth] in 2 days and 4 days for the blessings [filling the earth with everything needed for life] and 2 days for creating the earth [the foundation] = 8 days, not 6 days. Now, the question is: Were the heavens and the earth created in 6 days or in 8 days? Where is the problem? Does the problem lie with the miracle of Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah or with mathematics? Why? I mean really WHY did God create this whole universe? The usual answer of the learned is for creation and in particular mankind (clay puppets) to recognize HIM and worship HIM (case A). I think GOD created the Universe for all creation to recognize Prophet Muhammed PBUH and His progeny (case B). But if case B is the case, then why did God do such painful things to Prophet PBUH and His family? The same goes with case A; why did God do such terrible things to Prophet PBUH and his family? On one hand God claims Prophet PBUH is HIS most beloved one and on the other hand God did the worst that can be done to his most loved One's family. Why did God have to create us clay 'culprits', and then send His "ANWAR" (lights of guidance) and put them through the worst lifetimes and troubles to put us claymades on the right path? It is like using roses to clean coals; it doesn’t make sense, not to me at least. Why did God have to choose a path or way of pain and sorrow for this life? Is it just that GOD likes sadness and cruelties and that it is His way of doing things? Is this the way GOD treats the ones He Loves? I feel more drawn to Prophet PBUH and his Progeny than God himself , who gave themselves up and their lives for God and I feel much alienated from GOD who did terrible things to THEM. What does God really want? My life is a total mess right now, perhaps because I also wanted to be in GODs good books, that’s why all these problems have come up. Scholars in gatherings say that if you give up evil and start leading a life of taqwa, you will have to face God’s exams in the form of hardships. If I live a life of pleasures and sins scholars say you will be punished in this life and you will get punished in the form of hardships. Then what’s the point if there are to be troubles and problems either way? Is there any way to make a deal with God so that He gives me a break and gives me the kind of life I want (good and evil). I don’t have the strength, nor should even imagine to have the strength and character of His ANWAR or even close to the dirt that was ever lucky to touch their shoes.
