Supplication 91item Is asking other than God for intercession considered as turning to other than God and is it against Unity? Is asking a dead person to pray considered as worshiping him? Is it true that some Duas are more powerful than others? Or does it depend on the believer’s behavior or one’s heart’s desire? Who is the Imam that narrated Dua' ala’hd? The Qur`an, mentions the fact that there is no fear or sadness for the friends of Allah (Surat Yunus (10), Verse 62). If this is the case, then why do we read the following prayer in the Du’a of Friday (addressing Imam al-Zaman (‘a)): “Peace be upon you O Pure one who is afraid!” I had asked you special prayers for my debts to be paid off inshAllah and you advised me to read Surah yaseen at Fajar and Surah Waqia after Isha, which allhamdolillah I have been doing. You also said to ask Allah with the wasila of Imam Jawad (a.s) which I am doing, but I wanted to know what is the background of this as to why specially ask for the Wasila of Imam Jawad(a.s) ? Also please can you tell me when praying after each Namaz I pray for my mother my children husband and family first but I heard our Bibi Fatima (a.s) always prayed for everyone else first...? Should we pray for the Muslim ummah and everyone else who asks us to pray for them first and then our family and needs? I heard that Du’a e Mashlool is to be recited only on Thursdays... Is this true.... because I recite it every day....Please advice what is the ruling? How powerful is du’a? Can one change one's life and one's destiny even if Allah (s.w.t) has already - when one was in the womb? - decided the length of one's life? Can du’a lengthen one's life, save one from getting into a fatal accident or in daily life help one to lose weight? Hello, I really want to thank Allah for the pious and momina (believer) wife I have got so can you please tell me an Arabic dua in which I can add her name and thank Allah in Qunoot? Please, I really want to do this for my wife. Can you suggest any Dua for making friends and socializing? I am very much loved and liked by my family and in laws back home but since moving to the UK, unable to make any good friends. Can you please suggest me some Du’as which could help me from sexual desires? Please tell me 1. Can I read regularly like, I do it 101 times regularly without fail after vespers? 2. If Naad-E-Ali is being recited more than one time then is it necessary to start it every time with bissmillah? I want to know the prayer that our beloved Prophet peace be upon Him and His Holy Progeny told a blind man and his sight was restored. Please tell me the exact way of performing this salat (prayer) that you had mentioned in the Question time programme. At what stage in the Salat is this Dua said?? I would be very grateful for detailed instructions. Can I read this salat and Dua for any hajat (demand and need) I have and hope Allah will hear my Dua inshAllah? I read Surah Mulk for the esale sawab for my parents who are no longer here with us, what is the best time to read it? While I do some good deeds for example I recite Surah Fatiha and gift the reward to my deceased mother. But while making the Intention I also say that I gift the reward to Good Companions of Prophet Mohammad (s) and his Progeny (as) and exclusively to my mother.1. Will this reduce the reward which I gift to her since I am including the companions as well or she will get the equal benefit like when alone her name is only uttered???2. Also sometimes I gift the reward to my grandparents and all deceased Shias along with my mom, will this also reduce the proportion of reward which my mother may enjoy alone, if recited only for her? Please guide for sake of our Creator. I heard that our beloved Fatima (AS) prayed for everyone else but her own family one night when Imam Hassan (AS) asked her why she has only prayed for everyone and not them.... recently I heard from an ulim that when you pray anything for your brothers sisters in Islam and the Muslims in general that same Du’a Allah grants it for you too.. Is this right? I have always prayed for everyone who has asked me to pray for them and ofcourse for my own family, my parents brothers and sisters children and husband and his family too, but since I heard this Hadith about Fatima (AS) I pray specifically for everyone Du’as that I want to do for my own kids with the back of my mind thinking InshAllah Allah will hear my Du’a for others and grant me the same good with my children... Do I stop praying for my family now and just pray for others and is this thing in my heart which says to me sometimes that I am being selfish and praying for others just so that Allah grants me my Duas a Temptation from satan or what? 1234567
