Answer:
There are some definitions so as to what is meant by global village. Some believe we cannot enclose our society and insist upon our moral religious teachings in a biased manner since accepted principles and regulations outside our geographical boundaries will leave their impact upon us ultimately, and we have to accept these norms. According to such a perspective, culture should be a global issue and everybody is bound to accept a common culture. There should not exist any boundaries between the self and the other. In response to such a view, we had better say that no rational person will approve of disorder, chaos, and anarchy even in case of the realization of global village. Some principles and regulations should secure the law and order in this village. What principles bind the inhabitants of this village to obey these regulations, and why should they accept these principles? The best answer would be truth and rightfulness is the yardstick to accept the values and authoritative principles. According to such yardsticks, the Holy Quran has called for the globalization of Divine culture hundreds of years before the appearance of the idea of global village and has invited all mankind to worship God, the Exalted. The Holy Quran states,” O mankind! Worship your Lord, who created you and those who were before you, so that you may be God-wary. This holy verse`s incentive to invite all mankind to worship Almighty God is its firm conviction that truthful felicity of man and society will be realized only under the aegis of servitude and worship. Man owes all their existence to Almighty God, and He has endowed man with natural propensity to worship, and some signs witness to the existence of this natural tendency. Among these signs is our inclination to care for and love an entity loftier in stations of perfection than us. We perceive that this interest and love never ceases unless we grow an interest in an entity that is loftier than the previous one and that is supposed to have attained the highest stage of perfection, and which brings most pleasure. This is divine proximity that one attains by perseverance and pursuit servitude, sincere worship of God, the Exalted, and God-wariness. The Holy Quran guides man in choosing the right religion after inviting them toward religion and worshiping God. The Holy Quran states," Say,’ O People of the Book! Come to a word common between us and you: that we will worship no one but Allah, and that we will not ascribe any partner to Him, and that we will not take each other as lords besides Allah; But if they turn away, say,’ Be witness that we are Muslims,’ " This verse does not address the polytheists, idol-worshippers, and superstitious persons; rather, it addresses at the first place the followers of Divine religions who believe in revelation and unique God without intransigence and obstinacy. This verse calls these followers to theoretic and practical observation of their common beliefs. These common beliefs are matters which lead them to the Truth and Islam and are the same principles for the propagation of which the prophets are appointed world-wide. These principles are as follows: 1- The negation of any kind of polytheism in worshiping 2-Negation of the Lordship of other than God, which is the gist of the prophets` mission; All of the prophets request that individual and human society act according to Divine nature of mankind, which is the word of monotheism. Divine nature of mankind requires that individual acts be in accordance with social ones; man be submissive to God; and justice and equality develop. According to this, all humans are equal in respect to the freedom of life, freedom of speech, freedom of act. Two principles mentioned do not follow absolute contract and credit; rather, they can be ratified based on reasoning. First important reason is the negation of polytheism in worshiping God: Worshiping, expressing abjectness, meekness, inability and need deserve only a being that is not needy. A being which is the Absolute Perfect; this being should be above all imperfection, deficiency, inability and need. Worshiping other than God is a kind of deviation because no other than God deserves being worshiped. Second important reason is the negation of Lordship of other than God: Lord is he who owns; he is who has full authority over human. It is clear that human`s Creator only has such an authoritative sovereignty over human, and man partakes of His glorious banquet life-long. Then, Almighty God states below the noble verse: If the people of the book do not accept the invitation, insist upon your Islam and seek their testimony concerning your belief and acts in conformity to Islam. Here it cannot be claimed that Islam encourages us to practice prejudice, determinism and dogmatism because all prejudices are not considered as negative and anti-value; rather, blind obedience and prejudice without strong rational support is negative, not a prejudice which is supported by righteousness which relies on reasoning and rationality. But principles which are allegedly accepted as global principles like liberalism, Western capitalism, modernism and the like claimed by the question are not accepted world-wide because free humans of the world and world scholars even in the West have been seeking remedies to make up for damages and ruins arising from lasciviousness, and moral looseness of liberalism. Economy which is based on usury is a product of Western capitalism. The palpitating heart of economy presently is entitled upon domineering powers. The result is that 80 percent of wealth belongs to only 2o percent of people, and majority of people suffer from poverty. Modernism heralded imperfect mono-dimensional progress for human race, and is neglectful of other existential aspects of mankind. Accordingly damages like destroying nature and human environment, depriving people of mental tranquility and etc. Thus, these principles cannot be claimed as accepted global principles. Second, we shall know the premises based on which these principles are accepted even if we agree upon them. Mere approval by people is not a rational reason for their righteousness though majority of people approve of them. Wise man should look for reasons and causes, and these principles` premises are relativism, humanism, individualism, and the like.
