Answer:
Every action has a reaction in this life and hereafter. When we think about the results of every act or every word, we will then avoid sinful acts and sinful words. Remembering the results is very important to stop us and protect us from falling in sin. Those who commit sins forget about the results, or might even lose faith in the result of the deeds in this life and hereafter. Just think about what Allah says:﴿فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ﴾(Who does the slightest good, will see the good, and who does the slightest bad will see the bad)( Az-Zalzalah: 7-8) It is also very important to think about the great reward and happiness when we leave of refrain of doing dab, and the miserable punishment for those who indulge in sinful acts. Can we tolerate the hell fire? Obviously No, so why to commit bad which will lead us to hell fire. Imam Ali (AS)said: Obey Allah as much as you need Him, and disobey Allah as much you can tolerate the hell fire). Remembering Allah and reciting Quran and trying to be always with Wudhu are very helpful in making our faith stronger. We always need to seek the help of Allah to get this aim, and never think that we can achieve our aims without His help. Wassalam. Mohammad al-Musaw
